Faegre was never the same after the combination. I believe that the firm drastically underestimated the amount of work and strategy needed to unify two large firms from everything ranging from daily operations processes to sophisticated IT systems. After time, everyone got used to everything being chaotic and reactive and it has become a cultural norm. I hope it changes and Faegre becomes an incredible place to work again.
