Pros
Pay is alright, good benefits, some tuition reimbursement. Some of the nurses are awesome people and work hard and with you.
Cons
Not all rns are equal. As a NA there is little support and management always defends RNs. I have had many patients to manage and my RN telling me to do minute tasks (that they could easily do) as I am ridiculously busy... while they sit on Facebook, make personal calls (on company phone), stare at pintrist, the list goes on. The best part is they say "well go get your RN degree and then you can make your aid do it". Pay at other hospitals is better and in the beginning you can get sent/told to stay home if there are too many NAs until you build some seniority.
