Pros

- Its one of the few companies that offer 911 experience In Los Angeles. This is *extremly* valuable for many who are entering the EMS field. - Growing and stable company. - Newer ambulance fleet. - Involved in many special events. - EMTs are some of the best in the industry.

Cons

- Los Angeles division stations are neglected. While OC stations get flat screen TVs and better beds. LA Stations have not seen any improvement in living conditions. Mold, insect infestation, old beds and dirty recliners. - Extremly low and unfair pay. Studys show EMT's in other cities and counties are paid much higher and worked much less. Care generates higher revenue but EMT's never get compensated. - Supervisors lack basic interpersonal skills. - Poor morale among veteran EMTs do to company practices. - Managment is known to play favoritism among EMTs. - HIGHLY discourages "union-talk". - EMT's are treated as if they are the "bottom rung" in the company. EMT's are often talk down to.

There are a lot of them but it’s what you make of it. Keep your head down and don’t deal with management.
