Pros
For my area- they are always hiring. The people that you are with great. Most supervisors are fantastic, trying their best to be the buffer.
Cons
Deplorable. Really. WRITE-UP CULTURE. Motivation through discipline and write-ups. Good luck with emails being responded to. Your license will be pushed to it's limits, and then be prepared to say, "I'm not supposed to do that." You must BLEED for this company and make it your life if you want to get anywhere. Guilty before proven innocent (I work in healthcare elsewhere and I've never had this type of treatment in my life). People from other branches of Falck have said, "this isn't how it is where I come from." Nurses have reluctantly unionized for seemingly retaliatory policies, and pay is individually discussed with new hires, which is about $10 less an hour than what I make at the hospital. EMT's, and paramedics are paid unbelievably low (it is said it is the "industry standard.")
