Pros

Everything!! The entire foundation of this organization is amazing! Great management, coworkers, clients! Great benefits and amazing flexibility. This is great for individuals who are parents or care givers due to its great flexibility and support from everyone, this truly is a family and they will have your back through hell and back. The only reason why I left was because I felt like it was not the place for me, as I learned a lot about myself while having this role + learning the Wraparound model and I truly just simply hate the cold, thus moved out of state.

Cons

The pay for bilingual staff should be almost double the starting rate. We’re doing double the work & it’s sort of frustrating not being compensated enough for it. 1-2$ difference than a monolingual staff is not enough. Just saying.

Pros

No point system for absences

Cons

lazy coworkers, favoritism, teacher's pet, extremely high turnover, if you work full-time Monday - Friday you will be expected to work on the weekend as well if they are short staffed and there is no extra pay incentive for working extra hours on the weekend, no extra pay incentive for being on call, monkey see monkey do, schedule is all over the place because of constantly being short staffed and people calling off, new hires don't always know what to do because the little bit of training that you get is horrible, there is no book telling you what to do in some situations, you deal with all kinds of people meaning that you will come across people with severe mental health issues which you are not trained in dealing with, I have seen staff lie on reports in order to accommodate for grants, they do not properly screen for the programs they offer and as a result people fall under the radar and some people receive help that they should not because technically they do not qualify... to be continued
