Pros
Supportive management, friendly staff, and attention to quality and detail. The Alexandria, VA, location prides itself on customer service and professional development. The staff operates as a team and everyone is goal oriented. The managers did a great job of staffing on a particular day, making appropriate cuts, and making sure that their staff had an opportunity to make money. I really enjoyed working here, and I was only disappointed that I had to move out of the area.
Cons
This isn’t really a “con” per say, but I worked against the backdrop of phase 3 reopening from COVID. It was challenging because the restaurant was somewhat short staffed. Not necessarily on a given shift, but overall, to where the employees that do work there were working almost every day of the week. Anyone in the service industry knows that can be extremely draining. At the same time, many servers enjoy working every day because serving is their livelihood.
