Pros
You learn a lot in a short amount of time
Cons
The reason you learn so much and are stretched is due to the understaffed environment. They expect associates to be managers and lead projects, while managers sit back and just review tasks. 9 people quit in the span of 6 months - and only 4 contractors (not even fulltime employees) were picked up to assist with the additional work. What's even worse is the managers and directors got promoted - even though they are creating the toxic environment which is causing the high turnover. They also are quick to promise multiple things such as - its easy to switch to other teams, or this project will help you get promoted etc. Also the pay is extremely low for a DC financial based company which is really surprising
