Pros
You are able to work remotely
Cons
- minimum wage base salary - no job security for senior employees who have a slow sales month. Veteran employees will be put on performance plans the second a quota is missed with no warning. - company uses Performance Plans as a way to "motivate" employees. 40% of my team is on a performance plan right now. Instead of finding positive ways to encourage sales, they threaten to fire you. - no commission earned when your existing clients expand their businesses or enroll additional businesses with FareHarbor. You are only paid commission on brand new, unrelated sales. - goals, rules, metrics, and objectives change constantly. - leadership makes and breaks promises constantly - constantly raising the price of the software and services which angers clients and forces them to leave. When they leave, your commission ends. - tried to change our healthcare plan to Kaiser with 2 weeks notice (illegal). Then kept us on the same healthcare plan but doubled the price. - lots of overtime work required to be successful
