management is terrible. extremely disorganized. There are a ton (and I mean a ton) of initiatives that management makes. but it all ends up being ineffective which will eventually lead to you ineffectively doing your job. that of course isn't your fault but if management doesn't like you, they will fault you for it. management also isn't very competent. they can't establish an effective practice to save their life. micromanagement is just a norm. pay is low considering the area. not enough human capital considering the workload. there is zero training (which of course will lead to you ineffectively doing your job). Your role won't be clearly defined. if you're a workaholic that won't bother you, but anyone with employment experience knows lack of clearly defined responsibilities leads to you doing work you technically shouldn't be doing. products are really, really, really old. technology is outdated. so career progression is quite stagnant. I guess this job is for you if you are reasonably competent but don't believe in yourself and you accept your situation just because authority figures tell you to do so
