Pros
I'm never bored. Every project is like having a brand new job.....new co-workers, new clients, different design decisions, and a new region to explore. The job demands a lot at times, but we are treated EXTREMELY well in return. We enjoy working with each other and often socialize with each other outside of work. The company culture is one where we don't have traditional promotions, so we are never stepping on each other for a job title, which i think adds to the pleasant work environments. We progress and advance in our careers, but not the same way that other large corporations traditionally do promotions. For those that are worried about the comments about drinking activities outside of work....I'm a non drinker and have never felt out of place at these events nor do I think that's the focus. The activities we have outside of work are a generous perk. The company does ask a lot of us to move to new places; these social events make it more enjoyable for us and it provides an opportunity to get to know fellow Fasties.
Cons
Moving can be tough on families. I believe this would be a negative for many people, but I found relocation to be positive. I have been able to explore a lot of areas of the US I never would have considered. Places I thought I wouldn't enjoy turned out to be surprisingly awesome. Also, if you end up on a project where you have a tough client or you live somewhere you don't care for, you just have to remember, it's temporary.
