Pros
Higher salary than market average and an ability to work with a novel platform. Beautiful facility,
Cons
Everything else. Toxic work culture with senior scientists and directors that get offended by asking questions. Asking a question and suggesting process improvements are seen as personal attacks on those that had a hand in designing it. Too many have sold their soul and scientific integrity to move up the ladder and have destroyed what could have potentially changed lives . Yes, the salary is higher than average market value, but you will work endless hours. I would rather make less money and work less hours. Anonymous surveys about company performance and thoughts of the direction of the company were not anonymous. 0 work/life balance. Not constantly working 10 hour + days is looked down upon and seen as not committing yourself enough. The WORST leadership team I've ever seen from any company, especially in PD. Avoid PD at all costs. Two-faced directors and VPs. You cannot trust a single person to have your best interest in mind. Executive Leadership is terrible. Collecting millions of dollars of stocks yearly, even after the massive 60% layoff, on the backs of those that work 50-60+ hour weeks. Could say so much more, but I shouldn't have to. Don't even bother applying.
