Pros
I have to say that while I believe Fathom is an amazing company to work for, I fell in love with the company a few months ago when the CEO reached out to me, out of the blue, and invited me to lunch. Mind you, I only closed 6 homes last year (but I really want to grow my business and sell more). Anyway, at first I thought I was in trouble because of my low production. Instead, Josh Harley bought me lunch at a nice restaurant and spent over an hour helping me set my goals and put together a strategy to sell more homes. His ideas were amazing and after three months of putting the ideas into action, I nearly doubled the closings I had the year before. I was awestruck that someone in his position would take the time to meet with me and show me that I am part of the family not matter what my production is. I think we have over 2,000 agents and he still takes his time to meet with agents. I am so proud of Fathom and that I work here. I think everyone should work with Fathom. At first, my favorite reason for working at Fathom was because of the amazing splits. I was paying 36% to my last broker but now I only pay $450 which is closer to 5% of my commission. I am so happy here and have made a lot of friends.
Cons
No cons for me. I have heard people complain about no offices but we get together a lot and I prefer to work from home. My clients don't care so why pay higher splits just to have an office I will never go to?
