Pros
Great pay. Just a few tents shy 70 cents per mile. 45.50 per day in task pay. That's the basic hook swap drop and fuel. All those are paid separately. Additional tasks, out of route miles and delay are all so paid. But that will give you the basics.
Cons
There's really not any cons. If you're the type of driver that wants to do things your way keep looking. FedEx holds us to a very high standard. Also you're not going to walk in off the street and get a road driver job. FedEx is all about promotion from within. You can start out as a dock worker and work your way up. Even our managing director started on the dock. If you're young and willing to work it's a great job. You're not going to get rich but you'll be well compensated.
