      Pros

      Fedex offers benefits for there part time employees which is great for someone who is self employed or doesnt want their pay deducted from their main job. The pay is good for a part time job and there is opportunity to go full or get promoted if you wish to stay with the company.

      Cons

      The dock environment can get loud and pretty cold during the winter. During the summer its not too bad, it does get a little hot on the dock but it sure beats working in the sun.

      - Insurance benefits are offered to part time employees - Pay is sufficient based on being part time - Management will send some communications regarding big picture matters - There is some leniency regarding calling out of work

      Cons

      - The requirement to maintain insurance is becoming more difficult - Employees are not paid the same rate simply based on tenor rather than qualifications - Management will rarely, if ever, address direct employee concerns - Leniency for calling out only seems to apply for certain employees - There is no standard of training or written expectations readily available once hired
