Pros

Benefits are top and they focus a lot of energy toward education of employees at all levels. The company sounds great on a resume. Hourly employees working on the dock have big opportunities to become a driver or move into management positions through driver apprentice program or leadership apprentice program.

Cons

Working a 10 hour day is a short day. 12 Hour days are the norm. Working most likely on night shifts that put you on an opposite schedule as everyone else leaves no time for a normal life outside of work. You will be micro-managed and no matter how well a job you do you will get nasty emails from upper management on things you should have done better. The emails will be about the same content, but from multiple managers.

Pros

- Insurance benefits are offered to part time employees - Pay is sufficient based on being part time - Management will send some communications regarding big picture matters - There is some leniency regarding calling out of work

Cons

- The requirement to maintain insurance is becoming more difficult - Employees are not paid the same rate simply based on tenor rather than qualifications - Management will rarely, if ever, address direct employee concerns - Leniency for calling out only seems to apply for certain employees - There is no standard of training or written expectations readily available once hired
