Pros

Pay wasn’t terrible, at first. Met some nice people, and I’ve had good managers this far.

Cons

Huge, huge, HUGE disconnect between corporate and district managers and the reality in each store. It’s all about the bottom line - how can FXO retain as much profit as possible and entice more investors? Cut team member hours, prohibit overtime, and change its definition of full-time to 30 hours a week which you’ll accrue over the course of 5 days. There seems an unending supply of technologically illiterate customers whom expect you to not only help them make their unrealistic deadlines, but expect you to give them a crash course in how to properly navigate software on their device. I also can’t tell you how many times I get yelled at because FedEx doesn’t accept postage stamps as legal tender. The customers I can deal with, but what’s especially frustrating are all the changes they’re making within the company. They’re selling it to team members as “exciting” and “with you guys in mind” but that’s far from the truth. There’s little to no room for growth within this company.

Pros

Have a Strong staff and great customers -for the most part. Don't see my boss but 1-2 month.

Cons

The corp fluff to accomplish something. Setting all these goals and targets then forget about 90% until it's time to do the yearly "anonymous" survey. Then you see which stores had how many surveys done. 🙄 Keep it short and sweet it would be more effective. Have outstanding customer service but don't do anything personal in your store to recognize your customers. Be different but don't show it 😂 Working for Amazon now with no more pay. It benefits the store not us in our paychecks. At times unrealistic expectations with a high volume store and a staff of 4-5.
