Pros

Very nice people, overall positive atmosphere. FeneTech provides a challenging and rewarding atmosphere. Management does not micromanage or constantly observe you. Competitive pay for an internship and a real opportunity for employment after you graduate. Learned more as a co-op here than I ever thought I could, every day presented new challenges and interesting problems.

Cons

There were very few if any downsides. My biggest complaint is the use of VB6, or Visual Basic 6.0. I must admit that most of this is legacy code that is being maintained and is slowly diminishing in size as it is either rewritten or retired.

Pros

- Everyone throughout the company is very easy to work with, and are willing to help you work through questions and issues. - Travel for projects allow for experiencing new areas of the country - Fulfilling work to see all the hard work that goes into a successful project - Enjoyable company social events - Opportunities to grow as both an individual both on a career level and a personal level. - Freedom to work from home as much as you would like (no hard-set requirement to be in the office if you don't want to be)

Cons

- Travel for projects can be challenging to plan around due to some projects pushing out.

Pros

The company culture is fantastic. I feel that people in my position are able to have a good work/life balance. The managers and leads at Fenetech itself are some of the best people I know and they are good at their jobs.

Cons

Owned by private equity, going downhill. Senior executives are full of hot air.
