Pros

Lots of resources for learning and a large company with lots of people to ask questions and help guide you. Cost of living wage bonuses sometimes offered and a yearly bonus around annual reviews.

Cons

Not really a team environment in the inside sales "pit". VERY fast paced, taking new calls pretty much every 15 seconds with not a lot of time to follow up. In most cases, your task is not resolved when the phone call ends, there is almost always follow up required with virtually no time to do so because you get a new call within 15 seconds of hanging up. Managers in the sales pit micro manage- you have to review 3-4 phone calls with them every month. They spend hours listening to recordings of your phone calls to critique, yet offer very little support with he heavy work load. My performance for the calls was always praised, but it is still frustrating to be drowning in the work load and instead of them offering support for new issues they are rehashing old phone calls and critiquing. Very male dominated and not a lot of backup from male counter parts, so you need thick skin... And no, this is not just an industry problem, I work elsewhere in an adjacent industry and do not face the same issues I faced there. From customers or coworkers.

Pros

None, I would say remote work but it’s very toxic.

Cons

Poor leadership (manager and director), poor communication, poor training, unrealistic m expectations, micromanagement, no SOPs, lack of structure, FLSA violations, no upfront disclosure of what role is, stingy management. People outside of HR are great. In HR? They’re happy to lay people off and talk about it so casually during meetings. Think “it’s our yearly layoffs” and joking about catching people “slipping”. No opportunities for growth despite saying there was during interviews. Interview and reality are worlds apart. No diversity. Severe control issues. No new people have been hired in over 3 years yet multiple people have left so people are burnout. One person handles all of one process alone and management thinks that’s ok. For reference the same process takes 10-11 associates in the same sized org. I can go on. Stay away!!!
