Pros

- Culture is incredible. Complete meritocracy with highly talented people. There’s no toxicity or backstabbing here and it all starts with the CEO who’s incredibly smart, authentic and doesn’t deal with BS or politics and is a real visionary who actually empowers his management and gets things accomplished on time and on plan - they promote well and reward employees who perform and are highly collaborative - the business is taking off and growing so fast. Incredible product, client base and investors - Great, fun industry and these guys are the clear winner in their space

Cons

- The business is growing fast. So it’s a sink or swim environment. There’s not much hand-holding, so it’s not the best place for people who aren’t self-starters or self-motivated - they promote fast, but they also cut fast. So if you’re not keeping up or aren’t collaborative they give you a couple of chances but then they’re pretty nice and clear that if it isn’t working out they won’t and can’t keep you

Pros

I really value the trust that leadership places in its employees. From my experience at FEVO—especially recently—it’s clear that hard work is recognized and that the company is committed to retaining those who go above and beyond. I also love being part of a company that is growing so quickly; it’s rewarding to feel like you truly have a say in our future.

Cons

In my opinion, the two primary challenges at FEVO are maintaining a healthy work-life balance and the inherent uncertainty of a startup’s five-year trajectory. While that uncertainty is common in the startup world—especially for those of us coming from more traditional sports team roles—it can still be a source of apprehension. Regarding work-life balance, while it's largely driven by the demands of the sports and entertainment industry rather than FEVO itself, the difficulty in truly disconnecting remains one of the toughest aspects of the role.
