Pros

Nice team members and the pay and hours are decent. Can work from anywhere.

Cons

There's no innovation at all. The place has become toxic since the founding CEO left. He was a true visionary and knew how to build a great culture. Unfortuantely he left and the board assigned the CMO to become the new president. All she does is look after her original group of marketing people. She undermines the CRO all the time. She scapegoats her poor decisions and blames either the sales team or the past CEO. She has no vision for where to take the product. The place has become so toxic that everyone just watches their own backs. It's really a shame. Seems the board is supportive of the new president because they cant hire anyone to become CEO. So sad. The place has fallen apart. Plus, no raises or bonusus in years. Severeal rounds of layoffs have impacted the entire org except for the original marketing group. It's like a totally underqualified set of mediocre marketers are running the company.

Pros

I really value the trust that leadership places in its employees. From my experience at FEVO—especially recently—it’s clear that hard work is recognized and that the company is committed to retaining those who go above and beyond. I also love being part of a company that is growing so quickly; it’s rewarding to feel like you truly have a say in our future.

Cons

In my opinion, the two primary challenges at FEVO are maintaining a healthy work-life balance and the inherent uncertainty of a startup’s five-year trajectory. While that uncertainty is common in the startup world—especially for those of us coming from more traditional sports team roles—it can still be a source of apprehension. Regarding work-life balance, while it's largely driven by the demands of the sports and entertainment industry rather than FEVO itself, the difficulty in truly disconnecting remains one of the toughest aspects of the role.
