Pros

None, this is the worst job I've ever had

Cons

If you're in the Tampa Bay/Orlando market and you're looking at an opportunity as a Portfolio Manager at Fifth Third in North Florida, save yourself the horrors and run screaming. The worst leadership of any bank in the entire state, the sales vertical is about as vile as they come, (specifically Orlando). You have no idea, in the 20 years I've been doing this, I've never seen this kind of behavior from a RM. This place makes Truist look like Shangri-La If you interview ask how many people have resigned from the credit solutions team in the last 24 months. The culture is toxic and fear based. The systems have to be the worst in their peer group. You think where you work now is bad, just wait. The amount of rework and nit natty tedium is beyond the pale. You can expect to be gaslit with impunity Health insurance sucks

The training is very thorough and extensive. They take security seriously. You are supported when you’re a new hire. There are ways to be involved and feel included in the company. Information is readily available to help you.

Cons

It is a job that can lead to a lot of stress. It can be very fast paced. There are a lot of policies, procedures and information to remember. Should have proficient computer skills to be successful with this position..
