Pros
I learned valuable communication skills through this position interacting with customers to find their needs and wants. It was a friendly work environment geared towards a young adult workforce. This is definitely a part-time job position and do not expect to make a career out of it.
Cons
The pay was awful. I was paid $4 and hour plus 1% commission on sales. This is supposed to be an incentive to encourage hard work to make more commission but it was almost impossible to even reach the minimum wage threshold. So essentially I made minimum wage which is obviously required by law.
