Pros

The pay is fair, crunch is light, and they take care of their employees. People enjoy working here. This is company is like a family. Unlike any other company for which I have ever worked.

Cons

They are not independent. This is not much of a con, as their relationship with their publisher is outstanding, but I was required to enter 5 words for Cons.

A great inclusive place to work where the team is fun to work with and listens to feedback.

Cons

Not the most stable job, but that is the games industry overall.

If working on site, most of the the people are great to work with.

Cons

The environment used to be very collaborative, no longer. Production does not listen to engineering causing issues with deliveries. This was the main reason why the UI for Civ7 was so crappy when it shipped. Upper management is mostly absent from day to day operations and seems interested in only advancing their own careers by creating new 3 letter terms. Upper management is no longer on site, its located in N.C. Upper management is convinced AI will allow them to make games by saving time. While AI can do a lot of tasks, it can't define or create FUN. Sadly that feature "FUN" will be what is sacrificed in order to keep a budget and make a schedule.
