Pros
-ASE Certification -I heard the health insurance is great -Discounts with other companies -Paying the company to work on your own car(sarcasm) -The opportunity to work 12 hours a day(sarcasm)
Cons
-Was not properly compensated for training!(travel times and meals as promised) -You need to threaten to quit to get a raise(this was not me but another employee) -Online training can be cumbersome being Flat-rate -Vehicle Scheduling(ive never sat around so many hours a day waiting for a car to work on in my career) -Managements solution to low flat rate hours booked = 12 hours a day 5 days a week. Im still booking the same hours by the way, im still waiting for cars to arrive so i can make some flat rate time :) -Firestone has taught me flat rate is very stressful and good luck to all of you doing a Mini cooper S oil change @ .3 labor hours :)
