Antiquated Polices/Processes Mixed With Regressive Leadership - Property Manager First Pointe Management Group Employee Review

Pros

There really aren’t many, average pay is the only “pro” I have in mind.

Cons

The Remote Desktop server is reminiscent of Windows 98 (no exaggeration), the amount of reports required is overwhelming and redundant. On-site staff tends to be woefully understaffed. They don’t invest in the upkeep of their properties nor their employees. The WA portfolio in particular had/has very high turnover mostly due to a truly toxic corporate culture. Corporate staff is pretty homogeneous and lacks diversity. HR is just….a joke. They’re one slip up away from ending up on the news for the way they speak to employees. I personally didn’t have this directed towards me but was privy to this treatment amongst my staff and others. I simply didn’t want to associate with a company of this caliber.

Pros

Always a person to help , great resources, great support from asset and regional teams. Good benefits and discounts . Company is very well organized . Higher pay than average.

Cons

Little room for site level requests almost all needs regional approval / accounting ticketing system for simple accounting discrepancies .

Pros

They hire quickly if you need a job in a hurry.

Cons

There is a lot of turn over so you must ask yourself why. They are stingy with the paid holidays. Company is very political. No upward mobility if you are already a property manager. Many managers have a constant fear of getting fired. But no one will tell the Regionals due to retaliation concerns.
