Pros
Privately held - no pressure by Wall Street to focus on quarterly results or short term focus - focus on doing the right things.
Cons
Owners still heavily involved in day-to-day running of program - leadership style is somewhat outdated as if running a much smaller company. Have not evolved leadership style to running a multi-billion dollar global company. Senior execs still have very little signing authority for approvals of spend/projects/etc. Results in long waiting time for ownership approvals.
