Pros
I started working at First Watch Boca Raton, St. Andrews location about 3 years ago. I was a college student, so the working hours were ideal for me. They are flexible with your schedule, and as long as you have a valid reason for needing those days off, they will never ask you to work those days. Hours are early, but there is tons of coffee, so you get used to waking up easily. Growth potential within the company is possible, so if you do your job and go above and beyond, they will promote from within. St. Andrew's location is the busiest in the company, so just be prepared to work! Great money, but need to show your skills and commitment for better schedules and sections. Also, half of on all menu items for you, whether working or not!
Cons
The main con of working at First Watch Boca Raton, St. Andrews location is the scheduling. They don't put the schedule out until the end of the work week. So sometimes you don't know whether or not you're working Monday, until Sunday at 2:30pm. Also, the current General Manger is not always the easiest to get along with, and has been the GM of this location for over 5 yeas. Although he is an overall nice person, he will make threats toward your schedule and shifts for any type of mistake he seems fit. Overall, the job is long hours on your feet with no breaks, but the compensation makes it worth it!
