Do not work here - Administrative Assistant FirstService Residential Employee Review

Pros

Decent location. If you are Strata Manager you get free parking.

Cons

If you are thinking about working at this company, think again. Save yourself and your talents and run, do not walk to another company. Systemic management problems, bullying & harassment, unethical behaviour are all common place. As an employee you are seen as disposable, you are not developed and leadership constantly thinks that those outside the the company are more valuable than those in the company. If you are looking to burn out quickly then you have found the right place. 10 outta 10 would not recommend.

Pros

Great Support. Great management. Lots of vendor perks.

Cons

Very long hours. Must work to learn about all full cycle of audits, landscape, accounting, paving, reserve funding, public speaking, basic law, and keep current with new changes in HOA practices

Pros

They take good care of the office people

Cons

Field workers are second hand citizens. Nepotism by language. Promote people that don't have the skill sets to do the job. The people that have the common sense to be leadership at this point don't want the responsibility anymore. What does that say?
