Pros

The opportunity for financial success and career growth, friendly culture, financial strength (even when the housing market was struggling) and the ability to work for the #1 homebuilder in Cincinnati! Our land positions, impressive home designs, world class training program, and incredible team of support make Fischer Homes a great place to call "home!" Lastly, we have unlimited earning potential for our sales professionals with a base pay of $36k and an average income of $94k last year. The top sales counselor last year earned over $273k! Our sales training is a combination of two elements- three weeks of intense classroom training that incorporates corporate trainers, leaders within the organization, and top sales professionals along with several weeks of in-field training while paired with an Elite Coach. I've worked for several builders and this is the best training I've ever seen to help train those with no experience and help elevate those who have been selling for years! When you combine our sales process, training, and amazing homes...it's a very rewarding and exciting company to be a part of! Since I joined Fischer Homes I have already encouraged several people I knew to join the team!

Cons

Everything they described in the interviews and initial discussions is in alignment with what I have experienced. If you are coachable, driven, competitive, team oriented, and willing to embrace our systems you will have a very lucrative and rewarding career here.

Pros

They do a lot for interns here, HR is kind to do outings and are flexible with hours it’s rare to come by this.

Cons

My department specifically is male dominated and I experienced some bullying. It sucks to work hard, have boundaries, and still get made fun of for things I can’t control. My gender, my race, etc. This environment forced me to do a lot out of my comfort zone. Sometimes that was good, and sometimes it was just harmful,
