Pros

Fischer Homes offers excellent training, great benefits, and a supportive culture. One weekend off each month when fully staffed is a rare perk in this industry. Cross-selling across communities, quarterly team outings, and volunteer opportunities all make Fischer Homes a place that values growth, collaboration, and giving back.

Cons

• Flexibility is required; you may need to work on days off or outside model hours to meet client needs. • Rotating between multiple communities can make it challenging to stay consistently available for customers. • Heavy operational duties can sometimes take time away from focusing on sales. • Land opportunities are occasionally limited. • Homes are often sold well before construction begins, making it difficult to keep customers engaged during long build timelines. • Company holidays are observed, but if they fall on your regular day off, no alternate day is provided.

Pros

They do a lot for interns here, HR is kind to do outings and are flexible with hours it’s rare to come by this.

Cons

My department specifically is male dominated and I experienced some bullying. It sucks to work hard, have boundaries, and still get made fun of for things I can’t control. My gender, my race, etc. This environment forced me to do a lot out of my comfort zone. Sometimes that was good, and sometimes it was just harmful,
