Pros
As companies go, you could do a lot worse. The people are intelligent and hard working. There are also good managers who try to support the employees. The technology is current and provides good experience for future growth. Some positions allow for work-from-home. Personal time is supported and management supports time with family. People stay here because of the relationships they have built and the local campus has good amenities. There are opportunities for advancement.
Cons
The company seems to always be in transition from one organizational structure to another, always in some form of controlled chaos. Often times major decisions are made affecting the entire company that appear obvious they were not thought through. The environment never seems to settle in to a process that can mature over time. It's a very project driven work environment that demands a great deal of time (often 60-80 hrs per week). Although middle management supports a work-life balance, you don't have time for it.
