Pros
The regular employees are excellent to work with. Everybody treats each other well and they generally help out if you have questions or problems. If you meet somebody outside of work that you know, they will stop to say hello.
Cons
I think Senior Management is so hung up on cost cutting to meet whatever numbers to get their bonuses that they could harm the company in the long run by discouraging employees. Layoffs may help the bottom line, but they don't make for employee loyalty.
