Pros
Unlike some of the reviews from recruiters HR or what Fiserv considers disgruntled employees, I will give an honest review of my time at Fiserv. The work itself is fine and for the most part the people I work directly with make it enjoyable, this is true. It is true employees get enough time off and benefits are so-so. The reviews on pay depend on how long you have been at the company. I speculate new employees are hired in with a higher cost of living increase pay and employees over 10 years were hired in with before 2004 cost of living. The company is trying and making a lot of changes, that is also true. That is where the Pros ends.
Cons
Work-life balance is a challenge for many employees since this is a global company. One person could be overworked and another assigned to a small task. Data is sent and ignored. The company has bought innovation instead of producing it. There are more than one employee who dislike the changes but do not want to leave because as I said, the benefits can be good. The people are willing to do the work. I have seen people working and leaving the office late or going home for dinner and logging back on and working until midnight or later with outdated technology. Any investments made to improve the life of the workers are not apparent.
