Pros
The individuals that worked there. My group of colleagues was absolutely wonderful and the trainers were fantastic.
Cons
The cons for this company started pretty much from day one. I was lied to in the hiring process by both the recruiter and the manager I interviewed with. They misrepresented how the job would actually go and no one really explained what I would be doing entirely until I started training. I knew I would be taking calls, but I couldn't tell you what kind of calls I would be taking. Everything was pretty much vague. That should've been the red flag to not pursue. On top of that, they downplayed how the overtime went. They made it seem like mandatory overtime almost never happened and was all optional when in actuality, our department has been mandatory overtime for the last 3 years with the exception of a couple of weeks here and there. I was not the only person who was lied to during the hiring process. Others in my group were either lied to about the job being hybrid when this job is not able to be done from home at all or the overtime as well. It seemed like pretty much everyone was lied to about something out of the 25 people they hired on. Full disclosure, I would not have accepted the job had either one of these people been honest. Despite being completely lied to, I tried to make the job work and talked with multiple individuals. It seemed like there was nothing they could do based on the policies that were in place. Not once did my group have a supervisor and we had a manager change the moment we started receiving calls. It was like all of sudden, here you go! Unfortunately for our new manager, I had lost complete trust and faith in this company that there was nothing he could do. I was literally only going to stay in my position until I could transfer to a different department where I could make it work. The group that was hired on before ours didn't receive one of their paychecks and was told it would go on the next due to someone in management dropping the ball completely and not submitting. From what I understood, they wouldn't cut them checks. Then when that next paycheck came in, those 2 weeks weren't on it. I'm unsure if anything was done afterward, but that was the last I heard of it. Along with all of this, I found out that the turnover rate for our department is extremely high. For $20 an hour, this shouldn't be happening. I can't speak for the other departments, but the department I was in was so disorganized. Ironically, when I left, I wasn't going to even say anything about my experience there and just move on with my life until I received a call from my ex-manager. This was someone I didn't have a single issue with beforehand since he was only our manager for about a week, but he handled the call extremely poorly and left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would not recommend anyone work for that department at all. He made light of my disability and tried to say my problem was essentially "a lack of faith in myself". No, my problem was a lack of faith in this company due to all of the awful things that had happened from the get-go.
