Pros
Used to be a good place, worked here for many years until First Data took over the place. The only real pro I can give now is that I am out of there. Seriously!!! If you are really thinking on applying to a job here, please read below first

First Data culture is the worst thing I ever experienced in a job, just read the comments of other folks here, its not just me repeating the same story. -They used to make us work long hours (12.. 14 hours a day in my case) and it was never enough, never we had compensation for this extra time spent. -When was time of performance reviews we had to defend our self review against our direct manager, this only to get a "meets expectations" rating, if you were not good at explaining why you deserved a good rating then you'll probably be given with a "meet most" if you were lucky. The whole process is made to set you up for the lower rating possible by setting unrealistic goals, this to justify a 0% increase amount for the next period. -Sometimes on my team, which was so disorganized, our PO used to yell when things were bad. -At some point after First Data came in, they installed a software called sapience in our computers, this "tool" as they call it, measured every minute you were working, your manager can see how much time you are using visual studio, intellij, web browser, office suite, email, meetings and so on and have the ability to take reports and all this things. Literally, if you go to the bathroom it all gets recorded. Just like having your micromanager boss looking over your shoulder all day long. -The payment was not good, but of course they made me feel I was over paid, and I had to give more and more all the time (Salary raises were about $40 or $60 a month when I was lucky), that was ridiculous. -Our computers were installed with a lot of security related software which made them so slow to the point of being almost unusable, CPU was always running at 100% + also consuming all the memory (I understand them, they had to make sure no employee steals anything... we were seen as potential thieves :P...) -Security and behavioral trainings were run very often, all of this just to make sure you understand that you shouldn't even think to steal a pencil. -For the folks in the US, they as we all know were forced to move to NJ in most cases, leaving behind their lives.. really? for me is a baseness that a company does this to 1000's of employees that helped to build a company for that so many years. -Last but not least... bonus? what is a bonus? someone seen this? maybe the vip's... -I can keep writing, but I guess this is enough for now. Note for current employees: There are hundreds if not thousands of great opportunities outside, just look and you will see that you will find a great place somewhere else! You welcome!
