Pros
Back 5 years ago there were plenty of pros but since First Data was acquired by Fiserv it has slowly morphed into a horrid image of First Data. I question every day who bought who.
Cons
There is no leadership and very little opportunity to grow in this company. First Data, not Fiserv has made going back into the office mandatory. If you live 2 hours away from the office you still have to go in. Even if you work with no one in that office. Remember the days of punching the clock? Well, here it is to make you badge in. Same thing, not sure of the logic in this, or why they are doing it since there are so many remote positions in all companies now. The job market is flooded with them. They are losing a lot of key talent and not backfilling. I am doing 4 different jobs because people are walking and they are not hiring to replace them. Raises? Do not happen often, and when you do get one it is not much. Needless to say, I am looking at other opportunities and hope to be out soon before I am forced to go into an office. I am not anti-office I simply can not afford to drive 4 hours out of my day to just place my feet under a desk and do the same thing I am doing at home. There is no logical reason for it. This is either an ego trip for higher-ups or they have made a deal with the Govt for some kickbacks.
