Pros
1. The new CEO is good as per new changes. 2. There are teams with less inclined towards hierarchy which makes you grow as an individual 3. They do projects for growth/side hustles in few groups. But mind it (Your team will start dumping so much work for you which will never let you to work or learn on side hustle projects). 4. You can try to learn from 1-2 great subscription websites they provide. (Again, you need to hide always to learn anything. The teammates are so insecure that casually opening sites like geeks for geeks on your system triggers them, even though you are nowhere working on same project with the and you have already completed your work).
Cons
The people's manager situation: He/ She knows nothing about your work. Can't help even in managing most of the times. Always runs way if you reach out with your concerns. As my first job, I've never seen so many red flags at once. I am not throwing any hate speech. I am not going to achieve anything. It's my experience. A lot of my colleagues felt sick knowing my situation from day one. Tech: Forcing/making it vulnerable/closing all other opportunities for you to grow as the technical person: who you want to be and utilizing the skills that will grow both company's business and an individual Never made sense: Not utilizing resources and their qualifications properly. Forcefully, blocking all paths of someone who is interested/super in cloud but making them do dev. Someone is good into dev, being static putting them into manual testing. if you go to such team: There will be no umbrella for you. It gave so much trauma to me. The boss is trying to save his own jobs. There are lots of people doing the same role. Still forcing freshers with good knowledge to do manual task. Not for 2-3 months. But they make it irreversible. I can write full history/geography with proper syntax and example and proper English grammar. But I have already wasted my youth as a computer science major engineer in this org. I don't wanna waste anymore. Students: If you just want to earn few bucks go for it. You might get good teams. Those who really want to learn and go depth or at least save their face for being CS major, please think twice/thrice.
