Pros
The office downtown Minneapolis is very nice, though, not often utilized and quite quiet. The team does lunches and gifts on a fairly regular basis. Pay was semi competitive but just about in line with the market.
Cons
There was only one more relatively expensive medical plan, and no HSA. In general, the HR team offered little to no autonomy as all members in the group on the Generalist side are included in essentially every e-mail, and, all e-mails are heavily edited by others in the group. It is an extremely inefficient way to run a department and takes away any ability to learn and grow, while also always feeling put down by others in the group. There are limited meetings/face to face conversations so if you are looking for an HR role that allows you to build meaningful relationships with your team and with people leaders in the organization, you will likely not find it here.
