Pros

-There are a lot of properties to work at, especially in the Southern California area -Moving up in the company is easy if you put in the work and show potential -Excellent communication between other properties when it comes to sharing labor and equipment -Good benefits

Cons

-Corporate makes changes on a whim with little forewarning, leaving you in a scramble to meet their deadlines -Pay for new technicians is good, but should be better -The gears can move a bit slow at times but generally things get done time -Upper corporate management seems out of touch with the work we do. Very few of them seem to have any AV or production experience -Corporate tends to be hesitant when it comes to keeping equipment up-to-date. Money seems to be more important than quality equipment at times

Pros

- great network in the LA area - hours are rough but its the same across the industry - feels like we are part of a bigger purpose, clients seem to enjoy what we do - ability to transfer to other properties when needed - company is growing at a pace that doesnt seem crazy (another company in industry just had major layoff)

Cons

- hours are long and there are weeks that seem to never end - competitive business with many companies trying to poach - choose carefully on who you work for, the manager defines the position
