Pros

Benefits if your single. RSUs at sign on. Very supportive coworkers at your level since everyone is in the same trench.

Cons

Sick time does not exit- If you get sick you have to take it out of your PTO but they overly push working extra hours a week and everyone is salaried. The benefits if you need to provide for a family aren't great. Pay raises are very minimal and RSUs are not given out after your hiring alottment if your not management. Sales will write up SOs that are not what the customer wanted or tell them don't the other divisions will do it for free (which goes against the billable time requirements)

Thank you for sharing your feedback, we appreciate it. Personal Time Off (PTO) encompasses both vacation and sick time, in addition to 12 paid company holidays. We were thrilled when our CEO unexpectedly gave us all September 4th off as an extra holiday, making it 13 paid company holidays this year! Five9 leadership advocates for a very flexible work schedule for our employees, particularly during the pandemic. I would encourage you to work with your manager and your HR People Partner to be sure you are fully supported with the time off and flexible schedule that you need. Thanks again for your feedback.

Pros

Not a single pro, this company is awful

Cons

- Leadership promotes their boys club buddies that severely lack leadership skills - The product sucks. It's nowhere near industry standard - The culture is HORRIBLE. Very much sink or swim, no support, zero engagement with other employees unless you suck up to them or are in the office - Mid Market "RVP" leaders are some of the worst Ive ever seen. If you dont go to them to appease their ego for every little thing, they will "manage" you out - SKO was the worst broke company efforts Ive ever seen. Shouldnt have had one, this company is embarrassing. The public speakers and corny jokes were the most cringe thing Ive ever witnessed, Ive never felt more demotivated in my life - Boys club culture to the fullest, if you dont stroke everyones ego, you're out Stay far away from this company. Go to a real CX/UC company. FIve9 is begging for acquisition and no one will take them. The system is old and ugly. Run from this org. Don't bother.
