Pros

Benefits, but that's about it.

Cons

Worked at Laronde. CEO, CSO, and CTO are bullies. Yelling at employees, temper tantrums, and making people cry at work is a common thing here. This place thrives on harassment, gossip, and blame. No work life balance or recognition for hard work. Culture got so bad that it made it up to the Flagship leadership, but no one did anything because they didn't want to jeopardize series B. As long as the bigwigs make their money, no one cares about the employees that build their companies. All the toxicity of Moderna with none of the big stock price. There are plenty of places to work, unless you want a lot of stress for no reward, move on. If you do interview, ask why only one person in the in vivo team can produce expression data in the whole company. Is the person that good, or is it something more sinister? The truth will come out, and you don't want to be there when it does. Yes, management knows about this, but again, they don't care. Don't be swayed by the hype of endless RNA. Everything ends, and with the culture and "science" at Laronde, this company will end faster than most. Interviewer beware.

Pros

A tremendous place to grow and work with collaborative and smart people. You are encouraged to experiment regardless of what team you are on. Pay is also great!

Cons

Some days are tough, we move fast, but that's better than staying complacent.

Pros

- Office Location makes for a nice walk - There are smart people in the org who can be learned from

Cons

- Reactive IT leadership, if you aren't at the top you will be on a ship that is being steered blindly while sounding productive - Huge breakdowns in reporting structure, people in management/leadership positions who should not be - Contractors are treated less-than-human
