Pros

If you are a manager, then it's a great place for you because you don't have to do anything but manage up. You can get rid of folks easily, even the attrition rate is over 50%. If anything goes wrong, just blame the IC and they will get fired. You don't have to know the business because the direct level don't know the business either and they still get promoted.

Cons

Hell mode for ICs. No WLB, less pay, reorg, layoffs. You might have a good manager but they will leave soon or already left. Lots of politics and ICs are just trained monkeys.

Pros

Smart, kind colleagues that all care about the work Inspiring mission Flexibility New CEO/COO have a direction No toxicity

Cons

There are constant changes - reorgs, layoffs, new leadership, etc. Some things are unnecessarily complex and cumbersome but the new direction is focused on tackling this Limited promotions and opportunities for career advancement in general

Pros

Flexible work, anytime and anywhere. Flexible number of hours. Meaningful work. Good managers.

Cons

Terrible pay and poor career opportunities. No raises have been given for nearly 6 years, during which time cost of living has soared 35% or more, and during which time they've actually reduced benefits (decreased bonuses and continuing education fund). There is no financial incentive to work beyond the bare minimum because of the terrible pay and lackluster bonuses. I applied to a higher level position which perfectly matched my background and experience; despite working for them (without a raise) loyally with quality work for 5+ years, I didn't even get an interview. There is just no future at this company.
