Pros

flexible with work from home medical, dental, 401K are at/close to standard the majority of the rank and file work hard/do their best and are great to work with.

Cons

those that work hard are asked to do more with little acknowledgement of it nor compensation. Leadership above the direct management says end of year raises are not merit based but other department leaders tell me otherwise. no clear path to growth other than in title. The current leadership knowingly hires people from the outside at much higher pay rates and assumes current employees aren't aware and they hide behind not being able to disclose who makes what. After ownership was offered to C suite, it became about penny pinching while C suite hired from the outside are on vacations in foreign countries at 5 star resorts. I believe if the owner knew what was going on at the ground floor he would be appalled but I am sure based on the updates we receive monthly about how the company is doing that he and anyone else receiving compensation based on profit are doing very well. This company talks about old school conservative values. Those are about rising tides raising ALL BOATS. right now the yachts are riding high and the fishing boats are sunk...

Pros

- I learned a lot! - Worked close with a mentor - Colleagues were friendly - I felt challenged by the work. It was not just busy work. They really want interns to get a lot out of the experience. - Intern project was a cool experience. It allowed me to see other areas of their business and I could collaborate with other interns. - Was able to learn about other areas of the business each week - Felt supported by the company - Could choose your schedule

Cons

- Little interaction with other interns - Was not a con to me but we were unable to decide what dept I wanted to work in so this may be one for some people - Training could use some development. I learned everything from mainly one person on my team so your success can be determined by how that person teaches you. - Intern project felt like it needed a little more structure (direction on how the project should be approached in an organization sense such as requiring a project plan & the assignment of roles)

Pros

Good people and the company offers many fun things for employees to get involved in.

Cons

Low pay and not a ton of room for advancement once you reach a certain level. Many people working there have a second job to make ends meet.
