Pros
I've spent about 25 years in the workforce and working at Fleetio is, by far, the best experience I've ever had. I'm able to be open and honest about the feedback that I have. I'm given the autonomy to do my job well, without having to be micromanaged, but also am held to a high standard of work (which I appreciate). I have an amazing manager, who is always there when we need her. And I never run out of things to do. Fleetio still has a lingering startup culture, in that we like to move fast and constantly improve what we're doing and how we're doing it. But if you thrive in that sort of environment, you'll love Fleetio (and if you like things slow and boring, then Fleetio is probably not for you).
Cons
As a company, we're definitely growing and you can tell. Our growing pains are real at Fleetio, right now, but I'm also really happy with the direction of the company. We've been bringing in a lot of leadership-level roles and there has been a lot of resistance to that, across the board. I sympathize with these sentiments, for sure, but also have been really impressed with the experience that our new leadership teams have been bringing in and am thankful for the awesome skills and knowledge they're lending to our culture.
