Pros

Only place to make $15/hr without a college degree and/or some technical skills these days. If you are good at phones and sales, this is a great job.

Cons

Don't expect training on the phones. Training is on customer service and general information that totally does not prepare you for the job, and once you start the job, your coworkers will be too busy to help you learn how to solve the particular customer service problems you get. So you'll end up just exchanging lots of phones because you don't know what is wrong with them. You will also try desparately to upsell upsell upsell, even though many customers need absolutely nothing, or worse, are coming to you with their 2nd or 3rd defective advice - but you are supposed to upsell upsell upsell. The Verizon employees are not nice to you, management would come in every week or so and observe you (intimidating), then critique it to death, but not really offer any support.

Pros

Very friendly, as close to family as a company can get. Extremely large, so support exists for any task, even if not on site.

Cons

Long over burdened processes for capital to produce quality goods, on time. Pay for talent is lower than industry average

Pros

You get a lot of experience with many tools you support. Good people you work with. The knowledge, the training you get when you support over 100 different types of tools.

Cons

Management is lacking in training, they don't know how to handler conflict. No confidence in leadership, we are told one thing and never seems to follow through. No accountability
