Pros

The work schedule is very manageable.

Cons

You will quickly find that there is no career growth and quite low pay rate when working here. If you are hired on a part time contract they will refuse to make you full time and you will fight for this for years. Anyone is eligible to apply but what they won’t tell you is that they immediately reject your application. When they open positions to apply for they already have had someone internally chosen by their management. So it is technically a public job offer but they already have a name chosen and reject all other applicants. You will be immediately discouraged from any career growth. They keep you on as a part time individual so that you get no benefits or bonuses and work harder than full time employees. You truly have to jump through hoops for years before they offer you a full time job. If you are looking to for a safe and permanent job position look elsewhere. It will not be as hard to find a job with similar or better pay and they make it difficult to get hired on here. There is no support or growth towards promotion or a promising career. There is also a lot of favoritism and gate keeping. You will feel as if you are excluded and you will immediately notice those full time employees who watch each others back and hide things. It feels like there is no trust and the employees who have been around a long time protect each other and treat new hires as lower individuals. If you have another choice go for that job and use Flex as a last resort of income as you will not be happy but will make decent pay. You can easily find higher pay elsewhere.

Pros

Very friendly, as close to family as a company can get. Extremely large, so support exists for any task, even if not on site.

Cons

Long over burdened processes for capital to produce quality goods, on time. Pay for talent is lower than industry average

Pros

Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) were quite good.

Cons

Flex tolerates a toxic work culture from their most senior leaders. My director, literally, yelled at me daily, usually throughout the day. He physically grabbed me and forced me in the direction he wanted me to move. He threatened to fire me or replace me at least once a week. I went to the then director of HR who did absolutely nothing. After she was let go I went to her successor who told me there was no record of me speaking with HR before. And she did nothing. Unable to tolerate the work environment, I left. The company doesn't take safety seriously. We had shelving collapse resulting in an employee needing medical attention. The person tasked with designing and building storage has no training, no mechanical background, and no analysis is being performed to validate if the storage can hold 1,000+ pounds. There's no budget for professionally designed storage and, again, I was threatened for raising this as a concern. I learned today this same director is continuing to use me as a scapegoat despite me no longer working there.
