A big name in India You will get to work on multiple new things

Cons

They always expect to work more than working hours Managers don’t check the bandwidth of the team and keep assigning new work saying this is P0 Seniors will scold you if you do something wrong No promotion for years even if you have good knowledge of systems and business and developed multiple features and taken responsibilities. In 1:1 conversation, manager will bring a point so that they can postpone the promotion.

Pros

1. The tech stack you get to work at Flipkart is probably one of the best in the country. 2. You get to work on microservices while also staying close to the infra. 3. The tech stack varies from team to team but in general, good tech is used in each org.

Cons

1. At times, work-life balance takes a major hit, commonly a few weeks before the sale events when there is deployment freeze and even the smallest of deployments have to go thorugh a large chain of approvals.
