Pros

The company is India's leading ecommerce website. It has introduced other products too and is aiming to become India's Amazon.com.

Cons

Category Managers are qualified yet they lack the basic intelligence of running a website. A very simple understanding of the digital media is absent in most people yet they endeavour to become India's amazon. Interview procedures are bad - they make you speak to myriad managers yet delay the hiring due to salary negotiation. Very poor at pay scales - they will try to hire you at the least possible salary and they are not even ashamed of offering you a package of mere 30K for senior level manager.

Pros

1. The tech stack you get to work at Flipkart is probably one of the best in the country. 2. You get to work on microservices while also staying close to the infra. 3. The tech stack varies from team to team but in general, good tech is used in each org.

Cons

1. At times, work-life balance takes a major hit, commonly a few weeks before the sale events when there is deployment freeze and even the smallest of deployments have to go thorugh a large chain of approvals.
