Pros
- Lots of growth opportunities! - Everyone is very collaborative to get the job done - Open communication about a lot of things going on - The support here is awesome! I have never felt more empowered and confident in my job before. I came into this role very entry-level and made a large industry change. Full-time remote and being a part of a startup sounded exciting. I never knew how much I would really love this. I never really feel like it's a remote job, everyone is so good about hopping on a call or zoom to talk things through or even just to chat. Every 2 weeks we have an All Hands meeting that is run by upper management and it helps provide insight into the "health" of the organization as well as our plan and future! We are encouraged to ask questions and they have the platform to do it anonymously so that if it is a little touchy subject we can without putting ourselves out there in front of the company. I think everyone at Flowspace knows we are building something special and there is a fire that everyone wants to keep fanning to move forward and win this industry. Thankful for the opportunities, and thankful for the people!
Cons
It's not even a con, I think it's just the nature of a start-up, but change happens fast or you are the one building processes for things that haven't happened. This can feel overwhelming sometimes but again, the support you have from everyone to help or hop on a call or Iron out details makes it 100% manageable!
