Pros
I appreciated all of my coworkers who are all smart people that provide a sense of community. Challenging problems always have multiple heads that are creative and can find good solutions.
Cons
Everyone always is wondering what their project it. Everyone talks about the time they were laid off or when the next layoff will be. Just a constant pressure that clouds everyone's day. Management is all very old school in their mentality. High pressure to get projects finished under budget, but most of the structural engineering management has fallen way out of touch with current design requirements.
